Every pizza is made to order in our wood-fired oven. The dough ferments for 48 hours.

Antipasti

Bruschetta al pomodoro. Burrata con prosciutto. Carpaccio di manzo. Frittura di calamari. Plates to share or as a starter.

Pizza Rossa

Margherita. Marinara. Diavola. Napoli. Salsiccia e friarielli. Prosciutto e rucola. San Marzano tomato in every one.

Pizza Bianca

Quattro formaggi. Patate e rosmarino. Funghi e tartufo. Zucca e gorgonzola. Base fior di latte or ricotta, no tomato.

Insalate

Insalata verde. Rucola e parmigiano. Caprese. Simple, seasonal ingredients.

Dolci

Tiramisù. Panna cotta al caramello. Cannolo siciliano. Affogato al caffè. All made fresh daily.

Bevande

Sfuso wine by the glass or carafe. Peroni, Moretti. Limonata, acqua frizzante. Espresso, cappuccino. Limoncello to close the meal.

The wood-fired oven heats to 485 degrees. The dough ferments for 48 hours. A Margherita cooks in 90 seconds. These things cannot be faked.

No rush at the table.

At Rione there is no queuing system. The music is quiet. The table is yours as long as you want. A restaurant is a space, not a food distribution channel.

Walk-in seats fill up on weekday evenings. For weekends we recommend booking.

The wood-fired oven is heated every morning. It is at the right temperature when you arrive.

We do not rush you. Your table is yours for the evening.

Lunch weekdays 11–2 pm. Dinner every day 5–10 pm.

The story of Rione

Giulia and Mikael Esposito

Founders, Pizzeria Rione

Rione opened in Helsinki in 2022. Founders Giulia and Mikael Esposito lived in Naples for ten years before returning to Finland. They wanted to bring back the one thing Helsinki was missing: proper Neapolitan pizza.

Rione means neighbourhood in Neapolitan. We want this place to become your local.
