How far is the nearest shop?
The nearest shop is about 12 kilometres away. We recommend stocking up before you arrive.
Is the sauna wood-fired or electric?
Wood-fired, in the dedicated lakefront sauna building. Heating takes about 1.5–2 hours. Instructions sent by email before arrival.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation over 60 days before: full refund. 30–60 days before: 50% refund. Under 30 days before: no refund.
The cabin's story
The cabin was built in the 1970s and has been in the same family ever since. In 2019 it was thoroughly renovated. The original log structure was preserved and a new sauna building was constructed on the shore. The cabin has 150 metres of shoreline.
